Hi ladies,

Welcome to October!!

There are only 3 more months before the end of the year. What are your goals for the next 3 months? Start thinking of them. When you're done, please post them under this thread.

Also, look at your goals for this month. And then this week. After you have determined what you would like to accomplish this week, please post your goals under this thread.

Take care, and have a great weekend!

Hello Irene,

I took time off from writing for 5-6 months, just reading other books while adjusting to my new job as employee at CVS. In October, I would like to reconnect with my novel 3 outline, make it sharper and deeper and explicitly show more character growth from events that happen. Also want to start a series dictionary (a living doc with each novel) which will continue in months to come (on my characters traits/beliefs, what's happened to them that makes them grow and change their beliefs, their personal growth). Time allowing, I will prepare meals this month, chat with my husband on additional support needed in November so that I can participate in NaNoWriMo. I will be adjusting to writing on a regular basis again and don't want to over plan. I tend to get very enthused about doing so much, not taking into account days I may be extra tired and can't do it all. I'm sure you will help me thru this one day at a time. :)
It's so good to be back in your Word Warriors program again! Sincerely, Lauren

Hi Lauren!!

Welcome Back!! Its so great to have you here.

Sometimes taking a step back can really help you regroup. I will certainly help you set a routine that works for your schedule.

You sound like you have a good handle of what you would like to get done. So, that's awesome.

Ah, yes, NaNoWriMo!! I am planning to take part too. I will have one in our forum here. So, you can define your project again and then go at your own pace.

I look forward to catching up with you soon. I will email you with coaching session dates so you can let me know what works best.

Take care,
Irene

Welcome back, Lauren! My goals are similar. I need to plan my writing sessions and clean up my files. I found that I had spent time on a project that I had already updated elsewhere. So I want to clean up my files and make sure that I am working on the latest one. That way if an unplanned emergency pops up and I can't write for a couple of days I will know exactly where I left off.
