Hi ladies,

We are entering the last two weeks of December on Monday. With that in mind, what are your goals for this week? Please post them under this thread.

This month is usually challenging for most writers because of the holiday season and all of it preparations. Its so much easier not to write and to then start again in January or after Christmas. But I think its best for you to do some writing between now and December 24th.

So, here are a few things to think about.

Decide when you will have a cut-off for your writing. Mine will be on December 22nd. And then I will be back at it in January. So, take some time to choose your days to end and start back. Then write it down. Make sure that your family is on board with the date as well.

My wish for you is that you end this year strongly. You won't if you quit writing now and just focus on Christmas.

Have a productive week!

Goal #1: Spy & The Necromancer: I ended up taking a break last week from editing my paranormal novel. This week, I'll be working on second pass editing.
Goal #2: Monster Husband: I finished my re-read of an older novel I wrote and now I'm started to work on first pass edits.
2022 Goal #3: (Did I actually write 2022???!!) First week in January: Finish all edits on Spy & Necromancer. Send to beta readers. Submit novel by end of January.

I just finished a new short story, "The Ageless Art of Dating," and plan to submit it before Christmas. I have another story I'm working on with a submission deadline of December 31st. I've started it, but just can't seem to complete it for a variety of reasons. Either I'm fighting it or it's fighting me. We'll see.
