I can’t believe the week is over already. My goodness!

Checking in on this week, I know there’s one more day. Umm... So, I did this fail and tried doing big picture edits without a printout of my MS. So, I’m going for a repeat of read Dragon Girl book 1 and take notes. I got a print out of my Dragon Girl series. This will be on paper with no distractions to flip back between in trying to take notes in different programs.
On the plus side, I did do some scene level revisions on my cozy. So, yay there.

I’m still planning on reviewing the nonfiction drafts tomorrow.

Goals this week
  • Read Dragon Girl Book 1 & take notes
  • finish revisions on the little cozy. 11 more chapters to fill in the details.

Hi all,

had a good-ish week just past. This current week I have a few things going on, so I need to bring my goals right now on the writing/work side, and prioritise my self-care, it's the only way I can get through the challenges on me and the family this week.

My goals for this week are:
  • write 30 mins a day on the novel;
  • write/edit 30 mins a day on a number of shorts that are drafted and healthy, but could use a shot in the arm.
  • to read lessons 1 and 2 from Irene.
  • to mind myself by getting to bed early, taking a relaxing bath, getting out twice this week for exercise, journalling, doodling, reading one of the four books I have on the go, and finally by rubbing body lotion into me!

The body lotion thing, hell I dunno, it just helps...

Wishing you all a great week - Nikki.
