Hi writing friends!

We're moving into the third week of June. If you are still truggling with completing your goals for the first few quarters of 2022, there's still time to get even a few goals crossed off your list. You have the next few weeks to do so.

Look over your goals for this year so far. Try to assess your goals and how you are honestly doing. This isn't an exercise in beating yourselves up. Use it as data on how you are doing and then set up new goals and get going. Because I know you can do it!

Now take note of which goals you didn't complete. Write them down in your writer's journal. Commit to scheduling one or two of these goals in June. Then you'll be able to check off these goals by the end of June. Think of how good that will feel!

With that in mind, what are your goals for the week of June 20th, 2022? Once you decide on your goals for the week, decide what you have to complete this month to check off some of those longer-term goals.

If you need help in revising your long or short-term writing goals, please reach out to me and we can chat about it either during a coaching session or email. Just let me know.

Have a great week!

I will be concentrating on a writing class I'm taking and editing a story or two that I wrote last year to see if I can make them more marketable and enjoyable for the reader.
Hi Shari!

These are great goals! Good luck! You are doing so well!

Have a productive week!

Well, my goals have taken a backseat to the rest of my life but I think I can restart them again. This week my goal is to do the morning sprint from 10-noon EST time and to tackle again my Time travel novel. I left off at chapter 11 doing edits and rewrites. I hope to make it to chapter 15 this week with additional scenes added.
This weekend I plan to do my much-needed research for this story. Fingers crossed!

My goals are to:
  • develop a posting schedule for my two new blogs -- one about being a writer and living with chronic illness, the other about buying a house in Sicily (very different, but surprisingly they intersect a lot)!
  • pitch or submit at least three new articles or short stories.
  • make substantive progress on my last pass before querying my MG novel (hopefully to start querying by July 1!).
