I posted the word count that I have as of today since I hadn't put in the numbers from the beginning of November.

If you wrote before now on your WIP and didn't post numbers, try to estimate how many words you wrote and post it now. Its okay to do that.

Also, you will have until January 30th to post your word counts.

I hope this helps us write and revise as much as possible!

Hi, Irene! I'm finally catching up to these posts and planning to add my word counts for Modified NaNo in here. I'm a bit confused about how we do this. Do I just post the words I write per day? Or do I post each day the total word count I've written so far for NaNo? Sorry if my questions confuse things even more! :)

Hi Jennifer,

No worries at all. It is great that you ask questions. That is what I am here for.

Just start posting the numbers of words you write from now on. We will have this word count thread open until January 30th. So, you have a lot of time to complete your goal, whatever that may be.

Hi, Irene. Thank you for responding and the wonderful ongoing support.
I apologize that I'm still not understanding how this works. I think you're asking me to not post the words I've written for NaNo so far into this link, and to only add the words I'm writing from this day forward for this challenge. Is that correct? If so, that means I won't be logging a correct number of all the words I've written for this challenge for November. I guess that's fine, but I -- of course -- want credit for every single word, haha! :) Maybe I'll just refrain from posting any numbers here at all and just keep writing. That's all the really matters anyway, right? Thanks again for attempting to explain. I appreciate it!
