This is my second Pitchfest through Savvy Authors. The first one was a "live" event and as I recall you found out very quickly whether a publisher was interested. I sold my first book at this event. I believe events like this really give writers something to shoot for. We all question whether our work is good enough and this event can does that. I'm excited to see if I have any "takers" this time. Many thanks to Savvy Authors for having events like this one.
I actually prefer this event to the Twitter Pitch parties as it can get confusing on Twitter with "likes" vs. "Retweets". Thanks for a great event.
I think these pitch sessions are great for all involved in writing. I’m a hybrid author and I still love doing these even though I have other routes to use when submitting.

Thank you for this opportunity.
