- What other authors are doing a series in the subgenre? How much competition are they for you?
- Do you want to base the entire series around a trope (eg billionaires) or a specific place (Hello, Virgin River!)
- Can you come up with enough compelling characters to fill out a series?
- Can you worldbuild enough to support a series?
- Will you be able to release your series books in time that readers in this saturated marketplace won't forget you?
