Ilegal and Legal Characters in Filename attachments

Most of the "normal" characters that we use in day to day file naming are just fine. However, there are a few that will give our forums indigestion....please do stay away from the following:

apostrophe '
forward slash /
Quote "
Question mark ?


All this makes sense because those characters are reserved for specific operations in a URL.
