Emily C. Earnest has been hopelessly addicted to the fantasy genre since finding a copy of The Hobbit at ten years of age. Since that fateful day, she has been an avid consumer of all things fantastical, cementing her commitment by tattooing dragons and magical swords on her arm. When not writing fantasy epics, Emily practices as a pelvic floor physical therapy specialist– a rewarding field which also conveniently pays the bills. In her albeit limited free time, Emily plays and promotes the Irish sports of Gaelic Football and camogie in the city of Pittsburgh. She is appreciative of the incessant support that her husband Cody and their two cats, Benedict and Gregory, provide for all of her varied extracurriculars. Emily is also thankful for her beloved cat Barney, who was a major source of inspiration as she wrote her first novel.
