Jennifer Poyntz is a graduate of the National University of Ireland, Galway, with a BA in Modern Languages and Creative Writing and an MSc in Disability Communication. Since 2013, Jennifer has worked as an academic writer and Creative Committee Chair with Intel’s Creative Science Foundation, where she coordinates international conferences centring the intersection of humanities and STEM subjects. Additionally, Jennifer works as the Senior Adult Support Officer for Ireland’s national autism charity, AsIAm, where she advocates for the needs of autistic adults in Ireland. Jennifer is a two-time winner of the Dublin International Literature Festival’s Date with an Agent and is currently a contracted ambassador with Wattpad. After receiving a distinction in New York University’s 2021 summer intensive in narrative fiction, Jennifer is now preparing to begin a PhD in Creative Writing and Literary Practice, where she aims to conduct research into the literary representations of autistic women. Jennifer runs her blog combining her key interests of writing, spirituality, neurodivergence representation and academia.
