Scarlet Kind Rabbit

Winner of the National Readers’ Choice Award and Holt Medallion for Best First Book and Best Historical, Lori Ann Bailey is a hybrid author who writes about highland heroes and strong-willed independent lasses finding their perfect matches in the Scottish Highlands. Her novels are filled with religious turmoil, action, intrigue, suspense, warring clans, tested loyalties, and love conquering all. She served two years as the Washington DC Romance Writers Programs Director and spent two years on the national workshop committee for Romance Writers of America.

Lori won the Indie Author Project Award for all adult fiction in Virginia in 2021, has had one book translated into Japanese, and earned a stared review from Booklist for a Hannukah romance anthology which she helped judge entries for and edit. She is currently working with a voice actor to bring her self-published series to audiobook and planning a new series in a tumultuous time in Scottish history.
