STORYARCMAIN
We combine Premise and Story Arc into the first course. The premise forms the foundation and a way to test the story idea which leads to creating a story arc.

Here's the description of the course:

You have an idea for a novel, but it takes more than a vague idea to have a viable story premise. In this course, you will learn how to turn an idea into a premise, how to test that premise to see if it has the breadth of concept required of a novel, and how to create a story arc for your novel.

In this course, you will have all the lessons and homework assignments posted on the first day of class. This allows you more flexibility. The instructor will respond to your feedback and homework assignments within two business days depending on the assignment.

We encourage engagement with the subject matter and reward it. Those who complete all of the homework assignments by the due dates will receive a certificate of completion, a five-dollar Amazon gift card, and an ebook copy of Creative Calisthenics: The Ultimate Workout for the Writer’s Imagination.

Terri did a good job providing information that I personally needed and responding to my questions with examples and suggestions that finally clarified a problem I'd been struggling with. Very, very helpful. The only reason that I didn't give her 5 stars was because there was more of a lag in responses than I had expected with so few students asking for comments. However, I got exactly what I needed and in a timely enough fashion that I was able to get all my assignments in on time and be satisfied that they might actually work for a premise and story arc ;)
