I grew up across Russia, the Middle East, and the United States, surviving two immigrations with my parents. These experiences gave me a lifelong love of languages, mythologies, and diverse cultures, which form the foundation of my Nine Rivers series. English was not my first—or even second—language, but storytelling became my anchor and my passion.

I began writing stories as soon as I could hold a pen and have been actively developing Nine Rivers since I was a young girl. Over the years, the title shifted, the characters grew, and the world expanded—but the dream never vanished. I wanted to create a fantasy that reached beyond castles and swords, weaving instead a Tower-of-Babel-like world: a living mosaic of humanity’s resilience, inventiveness, and cultural depth.

By day, I work as a project manager orchestrating large-scale infrastructure projects; by night, I channel that same discipline and detail into epic storytelling. Breath of Starlight is my debut novel and the first in the Nine Rivers series.

I live in Georgia with my young daughter, whose imagination and courage inspire me daily to write stories of resilience, rebellion, and love that endures.
