Hey all!

Happy Monday! I am looking for my next read. What are you reading? Is there a genre that you can't seem to get enough of right now?

I just finished The Crash by Frieda McFadden. It was an excellent read!

That looks like a fantastic book! Thanks for the recommendation. Have you read many of Freida McFadden's books before?

Yes, I've read a lot of her books. She's very good at surprise endings.

I've been in a reading slump lately. So I'm rereading an old favorite Devil in Winter by Lisa Kleypas. And with my ears I'm reading Bombshell by Sarah MacLean, on a friend's recommendation. It's pretty good. The narrator, Mary Jane Wells, is fantastic and there's a bar fight scene that's very fun and cinematic, with the 2 MCs bantering between hitting people with chair legs and such.

I've heard good things about Lisa Kleypas. I love when books feel like they come to life when you are listening to a great narrator. Bombshell sounds like an entertaining book. I love fun, spicy bantering—and hitting people with chair legs sounds hilarious. :)

If you like historical romance, they are both excellent choices! Lisa Kleypas' Wallflowers series was the series that made me fall in love with the genre.
