Hi, I just saw a post from RJ saying there are genre forums available and I just found this one. Looks like I’m the first here! I write contemporary romance. I have a draft I wrote many years ago that doesn’t really fit a category (I was too new at writing back then to know about “write to market”) but I can see now that its tropes include Fish Out of Water + Secret Billionaire + Beach Romance. I’m also currently planning and drafting a series of sports romance books - car racing, inspired by my husband who’s a big fan of F1, NASCAR, etc.

I’m British, live in NZ, and have also lived for many years around the US, most of that time in Florida and Arizona. Yes, we like the heat!

It would be great to connect with other romance writers.
