Established Author looking for new representation

I’m a novelist with 24 books, all published by the big 5. I have two successful series that are still in print—a six book urban fantasy series and a five book paranormal cozy series (under the pseudonyms DD Barant and Dixie Lyle, respectively). Due to a health crisis about eight years ago, I was no longer able to write. After a few nonproductive years, my agent quit on me. Well, the health crisis has been resolved, and I’m now producing more output than previously—I can write 3 or 4 books a year, and have now have two screenplays, a book of one-panel cartoons, a YA dystopian novel, a superhero political thriller, a romantasy and a fully scripted (with artist attached) horror graphic novel. But so far, I haven’t had any luck in finding new representation. You’d think someone with my track record wouldn’t have a problem, but that’s where I am. Anybody have any advice? Know an agent you could steer me towards? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello!

Congratulations on all the publications! Wow! That's an amazing publishing career. I'm so sorry about your health issues.

It's tough out there right now in publishing, especially in the query trenches. I don't know any agents personally that would be a good fit. I know many agents are closed to submissions until January-ish. I would make a list through research on Manuscript Wishlist or Publisher's Marketplace on the agents that you'd like to query and keep a list for when they re-open.

We have a pitch event that is coming up October 22nd with a handful of agents that you could consider pitching to.

I hope this helps!
