[bcolor=#ffffff]The goal of any editing process is to make your writing as clean and concise as possible to allow your story to flow and your voice to shine. But how do you balance the right amount of scene setting and description with dialog? How much action is too much and how much is not enough? Finally, when the goal is to write and publish as quickly as possible how do you ensure that your writing is sparkling clean, and free of typos?[/bcolor]

[bcolor=#ffffff]Kerri, both an established author and freelance editor can help you develop a writing approach that works for you and produces submission-ready work. This hands-on class combines two of Kerri’s great Word Diet classes into one. In this great class Kerri will:[/bcolor]
  • [bcolor=#ffffff][bcolor=#ffffff]Develop clean concepts that translate to great stories[/bcolor][/bcolor]
  • [bcolor=#ffffff][bcolor=#ffffff]Write clean and edit efficiently[/bcolor][/bcolor]
  • [bcolor=#ffffff][bcolor=#ffffff]Edit for content to ensure you are writing the right story[/bcolor][/bcolor]
  • [bcolor=#ffffff][bcolor=#ffffff]Polish your manuscript and get it ready to submit.[/bcolor][/bcolor]

As a multi-published author of over two dozen books, I’ve worked with three times as many editors. I’ve also been a professional editor for the past four years. I’ve worked independently as a freelancer. I’ve worked for larger publishing houses, middle sized houses, and brand new small presses. So, I’ve seen both sides of the fence when it comes to the editing business.

But the one thing that all editing processes have in common is the goal of making your writing as clean and concise as possible. Have you ever read a book full of scene setting and descriptions that slowed the pacing to a snail’s crawl?
What about a book that contained so many errors and typos that you just couldn’t enjoy the book for stumbling over them page after page? I know I have. And this is becoming all the more prevalent with self-published books on the rise.

So, I’m here to teach you how to put your novel on a diet. Make it clean and lean. Get it ready for submission to agents or editors who just might offer you that contract you’ve been waiting on.
Get it ready for self-publication and feel confident that you’re taking the first step in right direction for creating the best production you can present to your readers.
Put your book on a diet and watch those scales tip in your favor!
