I am a “teachermom,” the incoming president of the California Kindergarten Association (CKA) and an active member of the kindergarten teacher community. I have a built-in audience of preschool through first grade teachers with whom I interact by presenting Professional Development Workshops. CKA’s mailing list reaches over 17,000 educators. In addition to writing picture books, I write curricula for a phonological awareness app, PlaySchoolTime, which is in BETA testing right now. I am an active SCBWI member and volunteer as my county coordinator.
