Every Day Fiction normally emails a flash story a day to your inbox, though the magazine is undergoing a change of webhost and has missed some days lately. One of the best things about this magazine is the editorial team are happy to work with authors on their almost-there submissions rather than reject an unpublishable story outright. They were looking for slush readers recently, and if you really want to learn how to write flash there's no better education than to become a slush reader. But check out a magazine before you volunteer and only apply if you like, or wish to emulate, their chosen style.
